• Author Workbench - You can now experiment with creating Cloud IDE labs independent of courses and guided projects

  Labs can now exist outside of a course or guided project. You can choose to create labs that only you can see and re-use within your courses and guided projects -- or choose to make them public for re-use by other instructors in Author Workbench.

  • Author Workbench - Each lab now has its own dedicated page

    Labs are now first-class citizens and have dedicated pages outside the context of a course or guided project.

  • Author Workbench - You can now add any lab to your course or guided project

    You can now add labs that don't belong to any existing course or guided project to your course or guided project

  • Author Workbench - You can now create a lab outside of the context of a course or guided project

    Labs are now independent of guided projects and courses. You can create a lab outside of a guided project or course and use it in many different courses and guided projects

  • Author Workbench: You can now create and work with versioned labs

    When you create an independent lab from the Labs page it will now keep track of changes via versioning.

• Author Workbench - You can now set up an LTI lab with just a link to your Author Workbench lab

  When embedding a lab, you no longer need to set LTI Parameters. Clicking the Embed button for a lab on Author Workbench will now provide you with an LTI Launch URL, which looks like this: https://author.skills.network/courses/<my course id>/labs/<my lab id>.

• Other Features

  • Author Workbench - Articles are now created with a default image
  • Author Workbench - Courses, guided projects, and Articles now have a target launch date

Bugs Fixed

• "Service Unavailable - Zero size object" when trying to update courses with default image
• Author Workbench - Filtering by "Owned By" in labs displays a Content Missing error
• AuthorWorkbench - Missing tool types when creating an independent lab
