• Author Workbench can now be used to write articles and tutorials

  • Author IDE - Improved UI for article editing

  • Author Workbench - Articles/Tutorials can now be submitted for review

    Finished writing your article or tutorial? Click on the "Submit for review" button to have your article reviewed and published in the Skills Network catalog so that it can be syndicated across the Skills Network properties.

  • Author Workbench - You can now select Articles/Tutorials on the left nav menu to see a table of Articles and Tutorials

  • Author Workbench - there is now a UI for creating/editing articles/tutorials consistent with the UI for projects and courses

• Author Workbench - All your labs are now in Author Workbench

  Any labs you had in GitLab and/or Studio are now in Author Workbench. They can now be edited and tested as part of your workflow in Author Workbench.

  • All SkillsNetwork courses have their labs imported

• Other Features

  • Author IDE - Publish is now "Save & Publish"

  We have made the publish action in Author IDE more intuitive. Now when you "Publish" your instructions, your working draft will also be updated.

Bugs Fixed

• Author Workbench - Editing and testing labs does not work reliably

  When editing or testing labs on Author Workbench, you will no longer see the following error pages:

  • "500 internal server error"
  • "Bad Request"

• Author Workbench - Incorrect user permission handling when testing the latest draft of a lab you are not the owner of

  If you are not the owner of a lab, you would previously not be allowed to test the latest draft, while you were allowed to test the latest published version. We've changed the policy to allow you to test the latest draft as well.

• Curator - Actions take over 15 seconds

• Curator - Cannot delete individual search criteria

• Curator - Cannot filter by multiple languages, topics, or difficulties

• Curator - No languages or topics to filter from
